College Of Nanoscale Science To Be Honored

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northeastern NY will honor the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany at its 65 Roses Gala Celebration, which marks the accomplishments toward the foundation's efforts to find a cure.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 24 at Wolferts Roost Country Club.

CNSE is being honored for its commitment to research and development in nanobioscience and its contributions to the region's economy and educational growth.

"We are honored and humbled to receive this recognition from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northeastern NY, which has distinguished itself as a true leader and champion in supporting the needs of individuals and families impacted by Cystic Fibrosis," said Alain E. Kaloyeros, senior vice president and CEO of CNSE.

Also at the event, 5-year-old Mathew Kempf of Hoosick Falls will be recognized as this year's honored CF patient.
