Content: The products and services available to reduce energy use in data centers on campuses are expanding rapidly. The amount of information can be overwhelming and makes it difficult to identify the most useful resources to meet your particular need. This workshop focuses on practical approaches and resources available from NYSERDA to help colleges and universities located in New York State implement energy efficiency measures in data centers for their campus. The one-day workshop will include case studies from several universities in New York State on energy efficient data center projects that have been recently implemented. In addition, NYSERDA staff and consultants will discuss programs, benchmarking and analytical tools, education and information, and other resources that can be used to help plan and implement both small and large comprehensive energy efficiency projects in your data centers on campus.

Who should attend: Facility managers, energy managers, data center managers and directors, and other information technology staff from state universities, community colleges, and private colleges in New York State. Attendees are restricted to those who work in New York State at these types of facilities.
